Bartley Burns offer both Building Certification and Town Planning services under one roof, providing our clients with a fully integrated approval process. Our extensive experience expands over a range of development types including single unit dwellings, multiple residential developments, commercial & industrial projects, shop & office fitouts, and school buildings.
A distinct point of difference that Bartley Burns has over our competitors is our in-house Town Planners. In 2002 our company incorporated a Town Planning consultancy which fits perfectly with the Building Certification services offered. This has enabled Bartley Burns to be involved in many projects from concept right through to completion – facilitating a development project to be run seamlessly from start to finish with expert advice on hand at every stage.
Established in July 1998, Bartley Burns Certifiers were one of the first Private Certification companies to hit the market, once the legislation allowed for privatisation in the industry.
Our Building Certification team work to build strong relationships with our clients and this is evident by the large number of long term clients which we are proud to call our regulars
On 1st October 2023, the Livable Housing Provisions are a mandatory part of the National Construction Code (NCC). The Livable Housing Design aims to “ensure that housing is designed to meet the needs of the community, including older people and those with a mobility-related disability”.
